EU SUMMER SCHOOL 2025

"Harnessing AI: Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Challenges and Innovation"

25-28 June 2025

The EU Summer School is organised by the Young Cell Scheme Programme for Kosovo (Rounds XIII, XIV and XV) and the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina”, in cooperation with the Programme alumni.

The Objective of EUSS 2025 is to explore AI’s capabilities and limitations, identify ethical and legal challenges, understand its implications for cybersecurity, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and promote critical engagement among young scholars.

International experts, government officials, local business leaders, innovators, journalists and Young Cell Scheme alumni in Kosovo's civil service will lecture on topics related to the main theme of the Summer School. The Summer School will feature lectures from experts, interactive workshops, simulation exercises, collaborative projects, and public roundtables involving various stakeholders. Each participant who successfully participates in the EUSS 2025 will receive an attendance certificate.

Agenda to be announced 

Young researchers, students from public and private universities in Kosovo, early-career professionals from journalism, law, IT, public policy, education, and social sciences.

Other requirements: 

• At least B1 or B2 level of communication in English is required (spoken and listening)  
• Participation in projects, NGOs and programmes related to the above areas is considered an added value.

For your application to be taken into consideration, you must:

• Complete the application form (also available on the University of Prishtina's website).
• Submit a proof of your student status (a scanned copy of transcripts, enrolment confirmation or any other relevant document) or relevant employment engagement.
• The application deadline is 6th of June 2025 at 16:00.
